Stobart Stadium Halton, Lowerhouse Lane, Widnes, WA8 7DZ

By Road

Take Junction 7 and then A568 dual carriageway towards Widnes following brown signs to Halton Stadium.Take Ashley Way (A562) and 2nd exit off roundabout (McDonald's on the right) and 2nd exit off mini-roundabout into Lowerhouse Lane.

Rail [takes 1h 30m]

"Beware:Sundays can be a nightmare so do check but Monday-Saturdays should have no problems.

"Catch the Scarborough to Liverpool train from Huddersfield Station and get off at Warrington Central. Within 10 mins or so there'll be a train to Liverpool that'll stop at Widnes Station. Jump on but don't get too comfortable though because it takes just 5 or so minutes to Widnes."

Walk to the ground (1 mile)

"At Widnes Station exit either via the hill or the residential road and you'll reach Birchfield Road. Continue in the same direction away from the station and towards the town centre along Birchfield Road. A short distance later you'll reach Highfield Road on the right. Walk straight down Highfield Road and continue straight ahead at the main junction onto Lowerhouse Lane and soon the stadium will majestically appear."

Unfortunately Widnes Vikings cannot offer entry to its on-site car park on match days due to limited usage by not only the club and its players, officials and sponsors, but also the visiting team and staff of the Stobart Stadium Halton, too.

However, the Municipal Car Park situated on Caldwell Road is only a five minute walk from the Stobart Stadium Halton and offers free parking as an added bonus.

Disabled Car Parking

There are a small number of spaces on both the Main (South Stand) car park and East Stand facility. These are offered on a strictly 'first come first served basis' and unfortunately, spaces cannot be reserved in advance.

The club offers its sincere apologies if any inconvenience is caused.

Giants Meet At:

The Cricketers, on the corner near the ground, admits home and away fans and has a beer garden out back. Giants fans tend to meet here for a pre match drink.

Good Drinking At:

"Pubs on the way would be the Crown (near the station) and the Albion (near the ground). If you've got members of your party with difficulty walking then a taxi from the station or the Crown would be an inexpensive alternative."

Good Food At:
