Hi Dave

May I echo the thanks which Richard has sent to you.  The Club continues to face many challenges on the financial front which are not being helped by the attendance levels so every contribution we receive is of immense importance to us and much appreciated.  Thank you.

Given that after more than a third of the regular season we are sitting in second spot, this is a fantastic achievement for the Huddersfield Giants and everyone connected with it both on and off the field.   The reality is however that we should be generating double the support we are receiving at the moment and the efforts and entertainment the team are providing they certainly deserve it.

With the exception of the fact that the Club did win the Challenge Cup in 1953 our results over the past six years are the best and most consistent since the war, with 2 Challenge Cup Finals, four semi-finals and a top six spot or above every year.  Of course we want to win something, and we will, however quite frankly it is difficult to see what more we as a Club can do.   Huddersfield is rightly proud of its heritage as the place where the great game of Rugby League was founded.   I believe it is time for the people of Huddersfield to show that they really do want and deserve a top flight Super League team by coming down and supporting the Huddersfield Giants in significantly greater numbers than they are doing at the moment.

I know you and your colleagues do everything you can to support the Club and it really is greatly appreciated.  What we have to do now is make sure that we build on the success we are achieving to encourage the people of Huddersfield and its surrounding areas to come down in ever greater numbers to ensure that we can continue to achieve the success we all want to enjoy.

Best wishes - Ken
